April 7, 2019 | Stonebridge Community Update Meeting, April 17, 2019, Halls A and B, Nepean Sportsplex, 1701 Woodroffe Avenue, 7:00pm
The SCA invites all Stonebridge residents to a community update meeting regarding the golf course development file. The meeting will be held at the Nepean Sportsplex on April 17th at 7 pm (Halls A + B) in order to accommodate the anticipated large crowd.
The SCA has decided to call this meeting to allow the City to provide an in-person update on the recent change in direction that has occurred regarding talks with Mattamy and to get as many of your questions answered as possible.

January 2019 | VIDEO Mattamy has proposed to build 158 homes on part of the Stonebridge Golf Course and Country Club in Barrhaven. This has created great concern for many residents in the Stonebridge community.

January 2019 | The City of Ottawa has initiated the Earl Armstrong Road Extension Environmental Assessment (EA) Study to establish the future right-of-way requirements and protect the corridor from encroaching development. The findings of the study will also inform and guide the ongoing planning and development of adjacent lands. MAP

April 1, 2019 | UPDATE: City staff have prepared a draft policy document and zoning changes to guide the development in Riverside South. The draft policy document, Riverside South Secondary Plan, will replace the existing Community Design Plan and give Official Plan status to the policy directions for future growth in Riverside South. The proposed new Secondary Plan applies to areas around the new O-Train Line 2 extension.
